Marlon Randolph was born to be in the spotlight, making people smile and laugh. He says this realization came to him as a senior in high school when, as a member of a singing group, his hilarious antics began to steal the show from the group’s performance onstage.
While in college, Marlon began to rap, but he says his audiences were too busy laughing at the animated faces he made while busting rhymes to take him seriously as a rapper. Taking a cue from his audience, Marlon got a job working behind the scenes at comedy club in his hometown of Detroit. It was there that he began to hone in on his craft by watching the love performances of some of today’s great comedians who came through the doors, such as Chris Rock, DL Hughley, Cedric The Entertainer, Monique and Steve Harvey.
Today, after several years of making a living as a professional comedian and appearing in a host of television commercials, Marlon says he ready to take on the comics featured on “Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes,” and the rest of the world for that matter.
