Rich Pierrelouis began his career as a stand-up comic in New York at the age of 19 and he quickly made a name for himself by touring clubs and colleges around the country.
An actor as well as a comic, Rich took a hiatus from comedy in 1998 to pursue a Fine Arts degree from The Theater School at DePaul University in Chicago.
While in Chicago he also trained at the famous Second City Theater and at iO theater (formerly the Improv Olympic). Some of his theater credits include, “Julius Caesar,” “The Blue Room,” “The Diary of Anne Frank” and Shel Silverstein’s “Hamlet... As Told On the Street.”
Rich moved to Los Angeles in 2004 and has resurfaced on the comedy scene, becoming a mainstay at many of the major clubs in the city. He has also worked steadily in film and television with guest roles on “My Wife and Kids,” “Eve,” “E.R.” and “ General Hospital.” He also plays Taylor Kingsford on the Disney Channel’s “Hanna Montana.”
Rich has also appeared in “Barber Shop 2” and an independent film showcased International Black Film Festival.
