Tiffany Haddish credits her social worker for her success as a comedian and actress.
Growing up in foster care in South Central Los Angeles, it was her excessive talking and imaginary friends that prompted her social worker to steer her in to stand-up comedy. As a child, Tiffany grew up aspiring to be a horse farmer or work in a beef jerky factory, but instead she enrolled into the renowned Laugh Factory Comedy Camp for Children… and Tiffany has been making people laugh ever since.
Not only is she a comedian, she is also a self-proclaimed dancing machine. You may have seen her on such shows as, UPN’s “Dance 360,” NBC’s “My Name is Earl,” FX’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and Nickelodeon’s “Just Jordan.”
Tiffany’s comedy has taken her all over the world and she recently returned from performing on the USO Tour in Japan for U.S. Troops.
In Southern California, she has performed at The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store and The Improv. She also performs at a comedy show developed for inner-city high school students that promotes non-violence called “Chuckles Not Knuckles.”
